Choose paper size before downloading
In Design, choose A4 or US Letter and a template. Download PDF generates the chosen size directly. Print / Export PDF opens the browser print dialog, where paper size and margins are controlled separately.
Check the exported file, not only the preview
Open the download and check the business identity, billing name, invoice number, currency, dates, line items and balance. Long content can continue on another page. Review page breaks before emailing it.
When to use the print option
The direct download font does not support every writing system. If a character cannot be represented, the app reports that rather than silently removing it. Use the browser print option for those documents and inspect the saved output.
