Status of this notice
Pre-launch notice · updated 18 September 2026. Free Invoice Generator is operated from Pakistan. The legal operator name, public contact address, hosting provider and server-log retention settings still need to be supplied before this becomes a complete public-launch notice.
Documents and assistant inputs
Business names, customer details, line items, payment instructions and document totals are handled in your browser. The current application does not send these fields to an application server, database or external AI provider. The assistant generates suggestions locally. Your brief is held in the current page session; applied suggestions become part of the saved draft.
Browser storage and retention
The application uses browser localStorage for the current draft in each workspace and a library of up to twenty saved versions. These records have no automatic time-based expiry. A new saved version can replace the oldest when the library reaches its limit. Your browser may also clear site data. Local storage is not encrypted by the application and is accessible to people using the same browser profile.
Logos and exported files
Logo files are decoded and resized in your browser, then stored locally as re-encoded PNG images. They are not uploaded to an application server. JSON backups include your document details and any saved logo. PDFs and backups remain in the location you choose and are outside the application’s control.
Website delivery and planned hosting
Loading the site requires your browser to contact the hosting service. A hosting provider may process IP addresses, request paths, browser information, timestamps and errors to deliver and secure the site. EU hosting is planned, but the provider, exact region, other processing locations and log-retention period have not been confirmed. This notice does not promise that all technical data stays in the EU. Do not place private invoice details in a page URL.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
The current application includes no advertising trackers, analytics scripts or application cookies. It uses localStorage for the document features described above. This does not describe every future hosting configuration. Any new tracking, third-party service or consent requirement must be assessed and disclosed before that feature is enabled.
Contact messages
There is currently no contact form or configured public support inbox, so this site does not collect support submissions. When support opens, this notice will describe the email provider, information handled, purpose and retention period. Do not send invoice backups or customer information unless it is necessary to resolve your request.
Your choices and deleting data
You control the records stored in your browser. Export anything you need before deleting it.
- Delete individual saved versions from Documents.
- Use your browser’s site-data controls to remove every draft, library version and logo for this site.
- Start fresh saves the previous document in the library; it does not erase all records.
- Delete downloaded PDFs and backups separately from your device.
- Avoid saving sensitive details on a shared browser profile.
Requests and future updates
Rights and obligations depend on the laws applicable to the operator and your circumstances. Where applicable, these may include access, correction, deletion, objection or a complaint to a supervisory authority. The operator must finalize the applicable legal bases, request contact, recipients and any cross-border arrangements before launch. We cannot retrieve or delete browser-only drafts remotely.
