For a fixed deliverable, use quantity 1 and the agreed milestone fee. For hourly work, enter actual billable hours as quantity and your hourly price as rate. Keep approved extra work separate from the original scope.

Make the payment request easy to reconcile
Add the service period and deliverable reference in Details. Confirm the billing name, purchase order if required, and the due date agreed with your client. Put verified payment instructions in Notes.
