How the calculation works
Annual billable hours = working weeks × weekly hours × billable share.
A worked example
46 weeks × 40 hours × 60% = 1,104 billable hours per year, or 92 per average month.
Use the result carefully
Sales calls, learning, invoicing and holidays reduce capacity. Use a realistic billable share rather than treating every working hour as client work.
