Identify the job and completed stage
Use Job / site reference to identify where the work took place. State the completed stage rather than a broad label such as construction work. The work-completed field helps a customer match charges to the visit or milestone.
Separate labor, materials and changes
Keep quantity units clear in the description. For labor, quantity can mean hours; for materials, it can mean units or an agreed package. Reference the approval for a variation.
Installation labor, 6 hours | 6 × 45 = 270 Approved materials package | 1 × 180 = 180 Subtotal before tax: 450
Check deposits and specialist deductions
Enter a confirmed payment in Payment already received instead of treating it as a discount. This general workspace does not calculate retention, construction reverse charges or statutory deductions.
