Make the job actionable
Use the job reference to connect the document to the customer and site. List tasks and required materials separately. The notes can include access arrangements, safety instructions supplied by the customer, responsible contact and what must be approved before work starts.
Separate instructions from billing
A two-hour maintenance visit at 60 per hour plus a 35 part gives an estimated pre-tax value of 155. The work order helps the person doing the job understand the planned scope. Record changes and actual work before preparing the final invoice.

Confirm completion outside this tool
