How the calculation works
Retainer = hours × rate × (1 − discount). Overage = extra hours × overage rate.
A worked example
10 hours at 80 with a 5% discount costs 760. Two extra hours at 90 add 180, giving 940 before tax.

Specify whether unused hours expire, roll over or are refundable in your agreement. This calculator does not schedule or automatically bill recurring work.
